Divorce Coaching
Professional support and guidance through the entire process
Certified ADR Divorce Coach by the Divorce Coaches Academy®
A certified divorce coach will professionally guide you before, during and after your divorce
If you are contemplating, in the midst of, or facing post-separation stress and confusion, professional guidance can help you achieve your immediate goals, and prepare you to proceed in your life.
You will be supported through the practical realities of separation and divorce (legal, financial, custodial) as well as the emotional responses they trigger, such as conflict, fear and sadness. This enables you make better decisions about the future, to make the transition to independence, and to sucessfully move forward. And yes, this includes parenting concerns and showing up as the best parent you can, despite the circumstances.
- Reduce conflict and stress to help you make good decisions.
- Potentially reduce your legal fees.
- Assistance with the divorce process and negotiation, co-parenting, and life beyond divorce.
- Divorce coaching does not replace, but augments the legal services that you have in place.
- My certified coaching expertise is enhanced by 20+ years as an attorney litigating family law cases.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, confused or down-right scared of what comes next, contact me today for a brief no-charge introductory conversation to learn how I can help.

Divorce coaching is a good first step is you are asking yourself:
- Do I want a divorce?
- Will I lose my kids?
- How will I survive emotionally or financially?
- How do I tell my spouse our marriage is ending?
- How do I tell my kids?
- Am I ruining my kids’ lives?
- Do I need to lawyer up?
- How will I ever afford this?
- What are my options, do I even have any?

What is Divorce Coaching?
Divorce Coaching is a one-on-one “hands-on” way to get the support you need and deserve. I am a dispute resolution expert, trained to assist with improving a client’s experience with divorce, co-parenting, and post-divorce life, while at the same time helping clients save money on unnecessary legal fees. My support can often help reduce conflict such that litigation becomes unnecessary.
When experiencing a major life transition, it is completely normal to feel emotional, overwhelmed, and have difficulty organizing your thoughts and actions.
Divorce coaching can bring immediate relief by:
- Listening to your story
- Discussing your values
- Organizing a plan of action in line with your values including:
- Legal issues
- Financial considerations
- Even therapeutic resources as needed
- Working with you on effective communication methods and self-care by utilizing tools that will shift how you behave and feel in the midst of your storm.
How it works
- I am happy to have a brief phone call to discuss whether we are a good fit, with a focus on your needs and what I can offer.
- As my client, we meet for one-hour sessions (in person or ZOOM) and begin our dive into what you need right now, and explore where you want to be in the next six months, year, or even many years thereafter.
- Depending on your needs, we will continue to meet on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis (determined by you). We will assess where you are, a plan of action, and hold you gently accountable for your progress. I can continue to support you through the practical processes of dissolving your marriage (legal, financial, etc.) and through the emotional impact it can have on your mental health.
Fees and payment
The hourly fee for divorce coaching is $200.00 per hour. You’ll have at your disposal my many years of experience as a family law litigator. Yet since my role is not to provide legal advice and all of the legal work in handling the divorce itself, my goal is to make coaching more affordable, and I can help more people working hard for the best outcome to succeed.
I do offer discounts for the purchase of larger session packages, though I do not want anyone to feel pressured into purchasing anything you are not wholly committed to. With that, if you decide to purchase 6 or more sessions at any given time, I do provide a 10% discount on that package.
About Payment
Like other professionals in the legal and medical fields, payment is due immediately following a coaching session. Learn about our payment options.
