Michelle Kenny

Attorney Michelle Kenny is the owner of Kenny & Gatos, with twenty years of litigation experience. Michelle specializes in divorce and conflict coaching, mediation as well as family law matters including custody, child support, guardianship, post-divorce, wills / probate and estate planning.

Michelle is a native Vermonter, having graduated magna cum laude from Castleton University in 2000 and Vermont Law School in 2003, receiving her Juris Doctorate with an accompanying Certificate from the Family Law Practice Program. Michelle is also a DCA® Certified Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Divorce Coach.

Kenny & Gatos was formed by Michelle and her now-retired law partner, Pamela Gatos, in 2014, and since that time, Michelle has been focused on providing clients with thoughtful and holistic advice during what is often a very difficult and emotional process.

Michelle spends her time away from the office restoring the historic "Wallingford Block" that she owns in her hometown, is an avid Yogi, and is a trained HIIT Pilates instructor. Michelle also enjoys her downtime with her family, hiking, camping, and traveling whenever possible.

Pam Gatos

Pam graduated from Boston College in 1977. She graduated from Vermont Law School magna cum laude in 2002 where she authored "Third Parent Adoptions in Lesbian and Gay Families" (26 Vt. L. Rev. 195 Note). She was an Honorary Member of the National Association of Women Lawyers in 2002.

Prior to attending law school, Pam worked in the social services field with children and families. This experience has been invaluable to her work in family court. After law school, Pam was an associate at Tepper Dardeck & Levins, LLP until 2007 when she became a partner at Tepper Dardeck Levins & Gatos, LLP. Pam and Michelle started Kenny & Gatos, LLP in 2014.

Pam raised her two daughters in Brandon, Vermont. After years of service, she is now enjoying retirement in Maine and spending more time with her family.
